About the Project
In preparation for the reopening after COV-19 lockdown, we are commissioned to create an exclusive find seafood menu for Melbourne restaurant Golden Lily. The owner wants something that is retro and simple, but with bit of history in it.
About the design
We choose the scene of colonial Shanghai back in 1800s with a mixture of western priest, business men and local Chinese travelling in carriage, wheelbarrow, horses as the background. It depicts the very historical origin of modern Shanghainese cuisine.
